Our partnerships with local business leaders, volunteers and donors are our lifeblood and support our brothers and sisters in blue in time of crisis or great need.

A private, NPPOA comedy event at Visanis, attended by over 200 NPPD officers and a guests to enjoy a night of levity after some trying losses for our department in 2022. Sponsorship funded. No member dues were spent on this special event.

The NPPOA took North Port residents by surprise this past holiday season with traffic stops that resulted in gifts, not tickets. The NPPOA were proud champions of the tug-of-war competition! A HUGE thank you to the North Port Young Professionals for inviting us to participate in this great event!! We love our brothers and sisters at North Port Firefighters Benevolent Association, and we look forward to participating Sat. July 30th with proceeds going towards our local schools!
The NPPOA partnered with SPARCC Sarasota this year to provide a magical Christmas to 2 families who stood up and escaped their abusers. These courageous individuals fled from their abusers and we want to memorialize the fact that a survivor's first step of a to escape an abuser is hard, but you will be okay.
We could not have provided these necessities without our partnership with Tony Gustitus of Keller Williams, Hood Cleaning Heroes, and Fuccillo Kia Port Charlotte!
A big thank you to the Axe Haus for this special event today! Congratulations to Team Blue who took overall points win and 60% of all funds raised, and to Team Red who will take 40% of the remaining proceeds! Fire took the pyramid competition to win the individual winning the most throws! Both associations won by raising money for our membership at this summer event.
NPPOA assisted Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office in Houma, Louisiana hit by Hurricane Ida by rallying local donors to assist!
Hurricane Ida had impacted this agency so badly that approximately 200 out of the 300 employees had damaged or destroyed homes. NPPOA was able to secure 2 truckloads of needed donations of much needed diapers, formula, fans, generators, water, toilet paper, extension cords, light bulbs, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, mop buckets, mops, blankets and pillows, baby food, clothing, pet food, soap (all types), and paper towels for our brothers and sisters in blue in Houma during this crisis. Thank you to: Ofc. Brad Green, Ofc. Alex Zwiefelhofer, Records Technician Cathy Johnston, Telecommunications Operator Tiffany O'Rick who drove our trucks all the way to Houma on their own time to deliver these items!
The North Port Police Officers Association, Inc., raffled a Nikita Kurcherov Tampa Bay Lightning Autographed Jersey. Mr. Kurcherov’s career highlights: Tampa Bay Lightning’s 4th all-time leading scorer; 2020 and 2021 Stanley Cup Champion; Ted Lindsey Trophy Winner (NHL Most Outstanding Player); Hart Trophy Winner (NHL Most Valuable Player); Art Ross Trophy Winner (NHL Most Points); 4-time NHL All Star. Raffle tickets are $5.00 per ticket, and 5 tickets for $20.00 dollars. The raffle concluded on 8-1-2022 - thank you to all who participated and to our winner!

Two local area law enforcement officers and their families were struck by tragedy just weeks apart.
One Deputy, after having part of a tumor removed from his spine, was recovering and had a massive heart attack. He was transported to surgery in Miami, and once stable discovered additional stage four cancer in his spine.
Another Deputys husband was working on a 40,000 lb hangar door when it broke free and fell on him. He was also transported to Miami for numerous surgeries has had to have multiple surgeries to repair his organs and broken bones.
Both spouses had to relocate, to Miami, to be close to their loved ones during this extremely difficult time while their husband's receive life saving medical care.
Thank you for those of you who showed interest in supporting this year's softball fundraising tournament. Due to the disruption from Hurricane Ian, we have cancelled this year's tournament. We look forward to continuing this tradition in 2023!
